There were 16 starters of which 11 of the dogs were labrador and 3 Flat o 2 goldens. We kept our fingers crossed for the weather as they promised rain that day, and we were lucky with only a shower during the day, but soon after everyone went home the heavens opened. The enrolling took place the garden where the girls crossed of these on the list and took the money while Ulla informed of how the points would be implemented. Gunilla Ohlsson was a judge for the day. Since there was a long wait for their turn, people took the opportunity to eat a grilled hamburger which Harald served during the day. This was much appreciated. We set up two tents in case it rained. Easier for when Gunilla and Ulla were writting. Nils Jorgen who also competed did a very good job helpnig out with the boat and threw many dummys and birds during the day. The audience had a good opportunity to watch and then plan how they could do it best to succeed when it was their turn! It started getting dark when the last dog had run, and then it was finally time for the ceremony. First, we distributed prizes to those who went first with dummys. First prize went to Lotta Gadd with her young bitch Peggy who got 140 points. In second place was Charlotte cape with Elsa with 137 points. Then there was the rest that had gone with birds. Won did Lotta Gadd with her lab veteran Santos was superior with his 250 points. In second place was Helena Dahlen with her Lisa. They amassed 228 points. Then the rain could not stay away longer .. but a very pleasant day we had, and all the dogs made a great effort during the day! Then it was time to start. Those who would run with dummy had to start. There were six of those, and it proved to be very difficult for the dogs to find dummys during search. But they struggled on and Gunilla read out the report for each dog when they had done their task on the three different stations. First it was water mark, then search and finally conducting. You had to choose which level you wanted to race on and the harder the higher your score! Ulla was the one who wrote the reports as Gunilla judged the dogs. After the first six dogs, we went over to game. It was noticeable that the dogs found it much easier during the search. All dogs brought in all the birds!
