I think most of us dog owners where longing for the snow to go and warmer weather for training..But Fidela doesn´t seem to mind, she jumps straight into the cold water.. brrr! They might be small but my cairns just loved pulling Linda on her sleigh, once they got going they ran far down the lane! Last month I wrote:Yes she did, but nevertheless we still didn´t get enough points to make a first prize. Instead we got a 2nd prize and 156 points, but almost! Now we will wait until the snow disappeares before making our next atempt! .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................... .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. I wonder if Fidela will do this moment when we compete as well as she did it here when training?! http://hem.passagen.se/labradorsmaland/aretssmalabbe10.htm Fidela was elected Labrador of the year (Årets Smålandlabbe.) We were suprised but it was a nice one!You can read her story on the link below. (Swedish only) .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Other things that have happened: Several yearly meetings with the different associations, excellent possibilty to air your veiws, make new plans and hear what others are planning. We have also completed our last cours at Roghöjdens, next time it is a trial. Exciting to see how Bonita will do :) It is sad to see so many homeless dogs and cats. We went to Spain for a weeks holiday and we saw many stray dogs. Some of the dogs manage better than others. The dog on the left was living a tough life. We had been to visit the famous caves in the area, and afterwards we took a stroll around the little park area connected to the restaurant She was jumping from table to table in search of food, but when she saw us coming she ran away. She was terrified. I went to the bar and ordered two large chicken sandwiches. When I came back she was there again on the tables. She was just about to run off again so I threw a bit of chicken to her. Suddenly she ran towards me hoping for more.. I put down the sandwiches and she ate them fast.I wanted to take her home....The cats that live outside the hotel on the other hand manage much better, as there were lots of turist sitting outside that threw scarps for them.
